My journey as a journalist started in 2004 with a bunch of metal albums reviews and memorable interviews at SMF Magazine, which no longer exists. Looking back at this period of my life, it seems like the job found me and it was a surprisingly natural process. Probably, that’s the right way to start big chapters of your life - with an ambition and passion, but also with a clear idea about the path you want to take.

When everything with SMF was over, my need for more professional writing was getting enormous sizes. Then, my first real journalism job came as a long-awaited gift. I’ve started working for MySound.bg - part of MyMedia Group - a wonderful project which didn’t last long. I’ve spent a wonderful time there between February 2008 and July 2009. Being a music editor gave me everything I needed then - the contacts, the meetings, the interviews, the concerts, the memories, the sleepless nights. It met me with the greatest mentor I can dream of and it gave me lessons for life.

Here are some of my most memorable interviews from this era, still live on the website. (All in Bulgarian; the list is not exhaustive) I’ll create a new blog post for my “MySoynd” live reports.
